Yellow Lab Oil Painting – “Scattergun Yellow”
This Yellow lab painting is called “Scattergun Yellow” because the reference photos were taken during a hunting trip to Scattergun Lodge in South Dakota.
Instead of painting the whole dog – and there is a lot more to him in the photos than shown in the painting – I decided a nice to crop the layout down. The painting is reproduced on Sweetwater Pillows and they can be found on sportingartisans.com.
