Black Lab Watercolor Portrait – “Lab Result”

A small watercolor of a black lab. This is one of my favorites that I just don’t want to sell. I do not paint watercolors loosely or in general washes. I’ve always been detailed with them. Watercolors are unforgiving though – especially if you have a white background like this one has. It’s hard to get watercolor blacks to be rich in black, but I think I got it with this one.
