Black Lab Retrieving Duck Watercolor Painting – “Jim’s Lab”
My friend Sarah commissioned me to paint a watercolor of her husband’s Black Lab retrieving a mallard, and the great thing is Sarah is a pretty good photographer and provided wonderful reference. But I took out more than what the photo had in it – as evidence by the white space that makes up a lot of this painting.
