Bird Dog Field Trial Oil Painting – “100th Running of the Georgia Florida”
I was commissioned to paint this oil to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Georgia/Florida Field Trial Club. I sat high in a tree stand to take the pictures need to make the painting. I just remember seeing on the horizon this mass of people, wagons and horses slowly appear and come towards me and it was an awesome sight. Usually you ride behind the gallery and this time I was in front of it.
