Acrylic Portrait – “Mike Lardy”

This acrylic portrait of Mike Lardy was a commission for the Retriever Field Trial Hall of Fame at the National Bird Dog Museum in Grand junction, TN. It was commissioned by Mike and Cindy Lardy for his induction into the hall of fame.

I worked with Mike directly and indirectly when I was at Tri-Tronics, and made many trips to Wisconsin and Georgia to watch the group of retriever trainers work. From those visits, I was able to meet quite a few of the movers and shakers of the retriever field trial world.
