One of the perks of having a retail site is that some of the customers become friends. In this case, two of my customers have become some of my closest, dearest friends and this lab was their best friend. I’ve done more than just a couple paintings of him, but this one was commissioned to go near the same bed at the lake house.
It was a very large painting. So large that I needed to specially order an extra large board for it.
Sometimes I get a picture of someone seeing the painting. Mac passed before I started this painting, and my friend Betty Ann took a poignant photo of her husband Reed looking at the painting at the frame shop.
